Fernando Fracassi
A multifaceted and talented Italian artist, Fernando Fracassi is celebreted for his virtuosity as a flutist, piccolo and recorder player, and as a versatile multi-instrumentalist (wind MIDI controller, electroacoustic guitar, oud, keyboards, synthetizers, piano and live electronics).
He is also active as a writer, poet, essayist, playright, narrator, and content creator, as well as a mentor, music critic, journalist, and university educator.
His academic work includes research and lectures of Cognitive - Behavioural and Experimental Psychology (Music and Imagery), Comparative Art, alongside his activities as a producer and cultural events organizer.
In 2017, Fernando Fracassi founded Fernando Fracassi Music, further consolidating his commitment to artistic innovation and musical excellence.
Since 2023, he has served as Music Consultant and Lecturer at the prestigious King Abdullah University for Science and Technology (KAUST), Saudi Arabia, where he teaches a range of theoretical and performance-based music courses. He also holds the role of Music and Artistic Director of the KAUST Community Orchestra, guiding its artistic vision and development.
